不同地区的用户在相关商业洽谈中喜欢使用的交流方式并不相同,那么国内外贸企业与中东客户交流方式适合使用哪一种呢?
在和中东客户进行交流时,用户尽量要关注到以信函往来为主,之所以使用这种交流模式,是因为中东地区的多数中小型公司涉外工作人员的英语虽然尚可,但绝谈不上完美流畅,因此稍晦涩难懂一些的词汇,在面对面交流时都可能出现偏差,当然这里所说的只是一般的中、小型公司,如果是中东地区的大型涉外贸易公司其各部门的工作人员英语水平还是很不错的。
如果外贸企业所涉及的产品销售额度相对一般,而且主要应对的是一些中小型企业,那么在和中东客户交流方式选择时,就应该以信函来往为主,例如

首先,非常荣幸在此前上海外贸农机展销会中贵方能够关注我方的产品,展销会中我方所展出的产品只是我公司76个不同类别产品之中的23%,如果贵公司对于我方所生产的农机产品有兴趣,那详细关注我方这次所发的信函附件。
信函附件中包括我公司所生产的70余种农机产品样图,并且每种产品的价格都有明确说明,如贵公司在此次交易中能够选定我方所销售的产品,如购入总价达到170万元以上,将会给予2%的优惠,购入总价达到500万元以上,将会给予7%的优惠。
此外,贵方之前也曾和我方详细的询问了在产品运输过程中的费用相关以及保险问题,此次运输中我方将承担产品公路运输的所有费用以及保险费用,而在产品上船之后的相关费用则由贵方自行承担,如果有任何异议,贵方可和我方进行详细沟通,报出具体购入产品的类别以及数量等等,我方会在3月中旬左右抽取时间为贵方生产该批次产品,之前在展销会中贵方曾明确表示4月28日左右将会在中东地区销售这批产品,因此我方将会在1月之内完成贵方所订购的这批产品,并在4月3日之前装船发货,预计在4月25左右贵方即可接收这批货品。
在如上信函中有三处误区,首先是“If you are interested in our agricultural machinery products, please pay close attention to the attachment to our letter this time.”这方面的问题存在于该企业只给出了官方报价,近年来我国外贸企业和阿拉伯各大中小型企业的沟通频繁,因此阿拉伯度搜狐公司都了解我国公司在产品销售中多会给折扣价格,如果在交流中没有提到折扣率,对方会认为给出的仅仅是官方报价,和总购入产品数量的折扣率,但是在第一次合作中由于对于对方产品品质尚不了解,所以购入量必然不会打,因此也不会获得折扣,所以该外贸公司给出的报价没有实际参考价值,因此很可能不会选择合作。
第二个问题存在于“You have previously asked us in detail about the costs and insurance issues in the course of the shipment of the products, in which we will bear all the costs of road transportation of the products, as well as the insurance costs. If you have any objection, you can communicate with us in detail.”实际报价方面阿拉伯用户没有获得任何实惠,产品运输费用也没有获得半点好处,这回导致阿拉伯用户认为在交易中能够获得获利额度降低。
最后是“As you have previously made it clear at the exhibition that this product will be sold in the Middle East on or about 28 April, we will complete the goods you ordered within 1 month and ship them by April 3. You are expected to receive the goods around April 25.”给出的期限时间相对固定,虽然欧美用户不在意这些,但是中东,阿拉伯地区用户对于这样的问题确非常在意,这些用户多数都在一个月之前收获,避免延期造成的影响。
