This section of the Standard describes general conformance requirements for manufacturers.

5.1. Chain of Custody Requirements 产销监管链要求
5.1.1. Traceability 可追溯性
Traceability practices shall be employed by the manufacturer to ensure that products conforming to the Standard can have their material basis tracked back to the origin of all input materials.
制造商需履行可追溯性，以确保符合标准的产品可以追溯到投入的原料。
5.1.2. Segregation 隔离
The manufacturer shall maintain a documented procedure for segregating and clearly identifying
conformant and non-conformant products in stages such as receiving, storage, transfer to shipping, and shipping.
制造商需保持一套程序文件，用来隔离和清晰识别收货、储藏、转运、销售等环节中的合格产品和不合格产品。
5.1.3. Manufacturing Process Description 生产过程描述
The manufacturer shall provide a diagram and/or a description of the manufacturing process
showing how recycled materials are tracked and how a chain of custody is maintained. It shall also
describe all inputs of materials, all internal material flows (e.g., reuse or recycling of scrap), and all
material outputs (including, but not limited to, finished products, intermediary products, and waste)。
生产企业需提供生产流程图和或生产过程描述，说明回收原料是如何追溯的，产销监管链是如何管理的，同时也需包括所有的物料投入、所有的内部物料流通（如废料的回收和再利用）及所有的产出（包括但不限于终产品，中产品和废品）。

5.2.1.1. Product Performance Testing 产品性能检测
The Auditor reserves the right to request documentation of product efficacy and/or performance
tests specific to product type that are, if applicable, recognized by national performance standards (ASTM, ANSI, etc.). Examples include performance testing for strength, flexural, fire resistance, etc.
审核员有权查看关于产品性能和或针对具体产品类型的性能检测，例如强度,弯曲,防火性等性能测试。被国家认可的性能标准（例如 ASTM,ANSI 等）为优选。
5.2.1.2. Supplier Verification & Validation 供应商验证和确认
The manufacturer shall provide a signed SCS Supplier Affidavit Form from all suppliers of recycled
material providing ≥2% of total recycled material by weight. A signed SCS Supplier Affidavit Form
must be received from suppliers of recycled material accounting for at least
95% of material by weight. Suppliers may be contacted by SCS to confirm validity and, on condition of their consent, may be subject to further review.
生产企业应需提供 SCS 签字的供应商承诺书，由提供超过回收材料总重量２%的回收原料供应商签字，且至少占回收材料比重 95%的供应商均需签署此承诺书。SCS 可能会联系供应商以验证其有效性，并根据他们的反馈信息，进一步验正。
At its discretion, SCS may choose to employ alternative or supplemental means of qualifying sources
of recycled material, which could include an onsite audit of the supplier or evidence of the
implementation of a robust vendor selection process and supplier requirements.
SCS 判定，可以选用替代方法或补充的方式验正回收成分的来源，包括对供应商现场审核，或者提供足够的证据证明执行了供应商甄选和供应商要求程序。
