我是Jack,2010年12月开始外贸旅程,到今天的2015年5月5日,已经有4年半了,能在同一家公司做这么久,我觉得不是一件很容易的事情,期间有很多时候会想走的冲动,但是,每每遇到这种情况,总会有1-2个新的客户闯入我的生活。
或许,这么久以来,能够让我撑到现在的,就是我的客户。
我喜欢开发客户的感觉,每个新开发出来的客户,就好像是自己的一个战利品一样。

第一次在这里发帖,大部分是为了积分,但是我做事是非常认真的人,所以我也在这里认真的跟大家分享我的第一个巴西的客户开发的过程。

这个客户是我们在2011年8月份去参加巴西展会上面认识,当时我来公司大半年了,很荣幸的能够去参加巴西展,由于我跟我的同事都是空白,在即将飞往巴西的前2天,我们还从深圳飞去了北京巴西大使馆面签,在这里我也想告诉将来要去巴西参展的朋友们,如果你的是空白的,尽量是去了其他国家之后再去申请巴西签证,省掉面签这一步,因为巴西人做事比较懒惰,所以面签的时候也是蛮痛苦的。我们最后的结果是,头一天下午终于拿到了VISA,第二天早上从北京飞回来,中午到深圳,晚上又从香港飞往巴西,从来没做过飞机的我,那次真的一下坐了个够。

好不容易到了巴西圣保罗,喜欢那里的水果和食物,中餐做得很地道,只是导游一直告诉我们很危险,晚上不能外出,幸好参展的时间是中午和晚上,所以每天早上都可以在巴西好好的玩一下,巴西的皇家园林,海滩等等。

OK,接下来我还是转入正题吧。

这个客户是来到我们展位上面的,当时我有在他们名片做了标记,因为他对大壳子的充电器有兴趣,而且是几个人一起来的,有一个会英文,其他的都不会,没想到我从巴西展回来之后,他竟然主动联系了我,部分内容如下:

Hello Jack,
How are you? I met you and your company in the fair show in S?o Paulo (August 16th to August 18th), do you remember?
And I he interest in Font (adaptor) european model with Output Plug P4 and with 12V and 1A and 2A.
Do you he these products?

然后我回复了他

Yes,I remembered you,you come to our booth with your two colleagues and they can not speak English,right?
From your last email,I he gotten two kinds of information about the adapter,you requested.

1,You need 100W adapter for Notebook.
Input:110-240V
Output:12,15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 and 24V,and the voltage should be automatical,right?
But there is a question,only adapter for IPAD can be output 5V,normally,other adapter for notebook should be about 19V,is there something wrong?

2,About 12V 1A adapter,the price is US $2.8,MOQ is 500 PCS.
12V 2A adapter,the price is US $4.5,MOQ is 500 PCS.

Yes! You are correct. Was me with my two collegues in your booth.

So let's start our business in the greatest way possible.
I need to explain something for you. I'm in this eletronic business for over than 22 years, we never buy 500 pieces of a product.
In this business we are talking about big quantities my friend. This is way I'll ask you to send me your best price for a big quantity, because nowadays my current supply is working with me witha price around USD 1,05/pc, so you can imagine the quantity, right?、

这时候问题就出现了,他说要1.05USD一个,而我报的价格是2.8USD,因为我们卖的是认证产品,所以材料各个方面都比较好,但是巴西市场是一个比较不需要认证的(当然后面有一个imnetro认证),据我所知,他的目标很低,但是有些工厂是可以做的,虽然我们做不了,但是我想过外购,需要时间,所以为了拖时间,我发了一封邮件给他,

About the 12V 1A adapter,your target price is relly very very low,I am dealing with it.

For the price list,there are too many products that we are dealing with,I think it is better for you to tell me which products you are interested in.As you know,we are the original provider,all the products we are providing are high quality and low price.

The above is the brief process of how I developed my first Brazilian customer. It was all through the exhibition and contact, but it laid a good foundation for my future development in Brazilian market.
