请问DBA(Trading As) Name 是什么意思？

dba是Doing Business As 的缩写，是指任何不同于公司注册名称的其他经营别称，大概就是贸易代理的意思吧

今天看到提单上客户厂名后也跟了DBA 公司名，始也不理解。但又不好意思问客户。
