小王是做马克杯的机器的,最近他收到了一个美国客户的询盘,客户上来就问“Please I need all prices of your products.”。小王就比较苦恼,因为他们目录上的产品有上千种,全部报价给客户又不是很合适,问我该如何是好?
 
在实际外贸工作中,如果工厂产品相对单一,只有十来种,那么价目表发过去也就发过去了。但像小王这样产品种类达上千种,给客户系统全面的发价目表确实是不太现实。并且如果一个客户不了解市场,不清楚行情的情况下,外贸业务员乱报一通,把全部产品价格做成报价单发给客户,反而降低自己的竞争力,使得整理工作毫无意义。那我们该如何操作呢?

在实际操作中我们可以化被动为主动。采取循循渐进的方式来追踪客户。我们可以先给客户回复这样一封邮件
Dear XXX.
We're glad you're interested in our products.
Please see the following details and suggest accordingly.
1)May I know your target market? (由于市场的不同,产品喜好和价格都会存在差异)
2)We can provide mug machines for fabric printing, pluck printing, anti-dye printing and direct printing. Can you tell us which products you would like to embroider on? This way we can provide you with some hot and suitable models for you to choose from.(只有了解了客户的用途我们才能有争对性的去推荐)
 
也可以从客户的预算或者订货量来询问。例如:Since there is a large variety of models. Can you please advise your budget and approx. order quantity? So we will recommend you some trendy designs based on your requirements.

通过上面这封邮件,初步的试探客户,看客户如何回应。这里我们对客户回复做出以下假设:
1、客户答非所问,或者不回复。对于这类的客户,我们基本可以断定为钓鱼类客户。
2、客户回复的比较全面。这类为意向较为大的客户,我们可以再根据客户的回复进行报价。
3、客户回复的不全面,有些细枝末节没写。那我们可以按照常规的进行报价,并在邮件中加上Prices will be adjusted when order quantities and designs/sizes change. Please be aware of this.

除了上面说的这种客户询盘外,常见的还有以下两种:
一、客户有明确的产品类型,且需要你马上核价报价。
例如:
Hello, XXX.
I need the price for 5000 pairs of plastic gloves.
Mike

对于这类的询盘我们可以不制作报价单,直接在邮件里进行报价。
Hi Mike.
EXW USDO.1/PCS, based on 5000 pairs of plastic gloves. (Logo printing is not included) Delivery: 3 working days.
Please specify further.
Xxx

回复的虽然简短,但该表达的都表达了。如:EXW表明报的价格为出场价、Logo printing is not included表明报的价格为不含印刷logo,同时表明可以印刷logo、delivery 注明了货期

二、客户询问多款产品并且有较强的采购意向,例如以下的邮件:
Dear XXX
Please refer the below list of product along with Artwork Attached,requesting an urgent quotation and sample timeline along with full delivery timeline.
………

如果客户发来的产品工艺和数量不一样,这时我们就要先进行核价并确定清楚细节后才能回复客户,对于这类无法直接回复客户,我们可以这样先给客户回复。
Dear **.
We are glad to receive your inquiry!
We are working on it and will update you the offer very soon
XXX

这里我们用了very soon,因为我们没有把握什么时间可以把报价给到客户,所以回复时就别把时间说的太准确。除非你十分有把握在某个时间可以给到客户,那么可以在邮件中表明时间。然后当到那个时间时把报价单发给客户。如若不然还是采用上面这种方式回复。
