WERCS是个美国数据库公司，现在沃尔玛，乐购等巨型超市都已经在和其合作。主要致力于SDS的制作、管理及传递，并销售维护相关软件，提供相关服务。旨在要求上游供应商将自己的产品信息属于该系统，由该系统评估，以便下游及时掌握危害信息等。要求所有进入美国超市的产品都必须经过这个WERCS系统注册
