多数外贸产品销售过程中都会使用到大船提单，但也有一些用户在提货之前会问及发货方式，使用大船提单，还是在发货时使用驳船提单，外贸企业销售人员对于这两点一定要了解清楚，否则的话在用户问及这一类型问题时，工作人员很难做出圆满解答，此外这二者还是有一定差别的，对于公司而言能够收到货款的时间并不相同，而且不同交易模式中用户交付的预付款额度也会有差异。
首先我们看一下这二者的解析“What's the difference between a barge bill of lading and a large ship's bill of lading? 有些外贸企业在产品销售中所要求的交易模式为T/T模式，和L/C就有一定的区别了。

此前在展销会上贵公司和我公司有过亲密会晤，展销会中贵公司对于我公司所生产的油漆小滚筒刷很满意，随后在沟通中，贵方和我公司的业务往来也很理想，通过免费邮寄产品，贵公司对于我方所生产的这一系列产品表示认可，现再次确认，贵公司要购入的产品为4寸迷你油漆小滚筒刷1500个，每个0.58元，4寸油漆小滚筒带绒拇指滚筒芯2000个，每个0.35元，6寸滚筒刷粗毛款800个，每个0.78元，6寸滚筒刷长毛款4000个，每个1.05元，九寸油漆滚筒刷1000个，每个2.90元，水性海绵小刷1000个，每个1.23元，4寸修补滚筒芯2000个，每个0.58元，6寸油漆滚筒刷长毛款3500个，每个6.55元，6寸化纤油漆滚筒刷6500个每个0.38元。
本次交易中我方此前也和贵方做好沟通，本次交易中以T/T交易为主，本次运输方式采用驳船运输方式，产品装船后，我方会在第一时间通知贵方，本次产品运输将于上海港口运输，希望贵公司在指定时间可在码头接货装船，陆路运输费用将由我方来承担，而在产品到港后陆路运输等相关费用则由贵方自行承担。
从这篇沟通信函中可以发现，该外贸企业重点提到了“In this transaction, we have made good communication with you before. In this transaction, T/T is the main mode of transportation. Barge mode of transportation is adopted for this transaction. We will inform you at the first time after the product is loaded on board.”
为什么该外贸企业在和产品销售方沟通过程之中，会重点谈到以驳船运输为主的，很简单，此种运输方式中产品销售方企业能够拿到的预付金会更快一些，这对于产品销售方而言是非常有利的。相对来说这一类型的交易模式，不论对于产品销售方而言，还是对于产品购入方而言都不会有负面制约，所以驳船运输或者是在大船单方面，用户应该关注到自己所选择的模式是否对自己有利。驳船提单和大船提单二者之间是有一定区别的，但并不是相关的费用支出方面的区别，这二者的区别主要存在于在不同的交易之中，哪种模式对于产品销售方更有利销售方企业在产品销售前就要做好分析，销售方企业和海外用户沟通时一定要充分考虑到哪种模式能够给自己的公司带来助力，而不能一味跟着对方的节奏走，否则后期阶段很有可能对产品销售方企业造成不利影响。
