i am pleased to inform you that scomi equipment inc is looking at the possibility of locally fabricating frames and panels for shale shaker screens. the rough estimate of units per month is 5,000ea for the frame and panel respectively. as such, i would appreciate your assistance in providing us with a quote for 5,000 units of frames and panels respectively as per the specifications listed below & attached drawings. please note that the decision for destination for delivery is still pending.

11.38’ per frame use scrap overage of 4 percent = 11.83 feet

22 welding pattern
weld corners first (weld on inside corner and outside)-no weld on top or bottom. complete two welds on corner and go to next corner until all are complete. all material 1.00”
after corners welded – select one side of frame and weld all eight bars (1/2”x1.00” to 1.00” two welds on each side of tubing).there is no top or bottom weld. repeat process on other side in same fashion. welds only need to be ground on outside corner. the long dimension typically cut a little shorter than 46.25’ (46.125’ to get good penetration and it minimizes the grinding of the welds).
