This year on April 26, 2024, we come together as an industry to celebrate the enduring and unique qualities of leather. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Repair, Reuse, Repurpose” emphasising the long-lasting, repairable, and versatile qualities of leather that make it a responsible material choice for a circular society.
为了获得LWG认证，企业需要遵循一系列步骤：首先，在LWG官网上填写在线注册表；接着，参加免费的未来制革厂调查，了解所需的标准并准备审核；最后，一旦企业准备好接受审计，需要直接联系LWG批准的审计师并安排审计。
品牌和零售商也承担着责任，承诺在入会后3年内将皮革供应链的25%加入LWG会员，并在6年内将50%加入。此外，品牌成员需要公示他们购买的皮革，以促进透明度和责任。
