The LWG Tannery of the Future self-assessment is a tool designed to support leather manufacturers in their journey towards environmental excellence and LWG certification, allowing them to:
Evaluate their current environmental and social performance
Identify areas where there is room for improvement
Understand how ready they are to undergo an LWG audit

Are You Ready for an Audit?
We launched the LWG Tannery of the Future self-assessment tool in 2019 to support leather manufacturers in their journey towards environmental excellence and LWG-certification. Designed as an easy-to-read questionnaire, the tool allows tanneries to:
Evaluate their current environmental and social performanceIdentify areas where there is room for improvementUnderstand how ready they are to undergo an LWG audit.
The LWG Tannery of the Future self-assessment is designed as an introductory step, and it is not a substitute for the LWG Audit and Certification. Completing the self-assessment does not confer approval of certification - the tool may be used as a springboard for future improvement.

制革厂和皮革生产商可以获得金牌、银牌或铜牌认证或经审计的评级.奖牌奖励由“关键部分”的得分决定:

由于再生皮革的生产工艺比较灵活、可以实时调整，因此通过增加天然乳胶的用量，改动工艺配方，同样可以作出各种不同软硬度，不同强度的产品。其后期的表面处理与PU类似，在表面纹路及颜色上再生皮革也是花色不断翻新、新品层出不穷。更重要的是它极具竞争性的价格，仅是真皮的十分之一，PU的三倍，非常超值，性价比高。
