遇到非洲客户硬是要D/A,该怎么?
我们公司一直有阿里巴巴平台,之前没人管理,我也刚刚来公司1个月,网站还没起来,客户是主动找到我的,我的tm,跟他谈了半个多小时,他需要的产品比较简单,生产是没问题的,客户就提到他们的付款方式只d/a。还专门发了一封邮件给我解释d/a是什么?邮件如下:dear sir
you can understand our payment terms
below is the detailed definition of d/a payment terms:-
in a cash against documents(d/a) transaction, you ship the goods but
retain ownership and control of them until your buyer pays for them.
you ship the goods before payment but don’t release the documents to
transfer ownership and possession of them until your overseas buyer
has made an irrevocable payment for the goods. your bank and your
buyer’s bank facilitate the transfer of the payment and shipping
documents.
the main steps in a cash against documents transaction are:
1. you ship the goods to your buyer in accordance with the export contract.
2. you present the relevant shipping documents, including the
bill of lading and invoice, to your bank, which sends the documents to
the buyer’s bank .
3. your buyer provides payment for the goods to their bank , who
in turn transfers the payment to your bank.
4. in return for the payment your buyer’s bank hands over the
shipping documents to the buyer, who then takes control of the goods.

我左看右看,感觉客户说的好像是d/p。
但是这是新客户呀!一次都没合作过的,说要样品,但是要等付款方式谈妥了以后,他们是非洲乌干达的,我怕信誉不好,货出去了款就不回来了,款不多不少也有14万呀!
我的考虑是:1.我们公司网站没有装修,产品还很乱,还没整理起来,关键词搜索前几页都找不到我们的产品,他是怎么找到我们的呢?
2.他一再告诉我,他们银行只建议他们d/a,对我们大家都安全,难道乌干达那边只能这么操作?
3.客户需要的也是比较常规的产品,不算很特殊,为什么没找其他厂呢?
