一个客户,去年走过一个40GP的单子,当时给他的付款方式是100% T/T on B/L copy。
今年又下一个40GP,但是老板这次觉得风险太大,想改成100%L/C,但是客户说什么都不接受。我应该怎么去说服客户呢?

Dear,
We still insist to the LC payment terms. Last year T/T was an exception, that was our first cooperation so **(our boss name) agreed on that. This year we want to come back to normal. Although it costs 200USD more and takes more work, but it is safe and fair for both of us, isn't it?
客人回:

honestly I can not understand. L/C is only made in case you want to make sure of payment and usually only used in case of first cooperation.
Now you demand this after we cooperated and you should trust **(name of my client)?
At least also L/C would not guarantee a payment, if you do not get a shipment release by **(name of my client), because this is part of documents you would need for L/C.
So I really confused why **(our boss name) insist on this now. If you pass inspection there is no reason not to pay you and we pay on B/L copy, what means you do not he risk.
