CRAWLING BUG INSECTICIDEmeans any insecticide product that is designed for use against ants,cockroaches, or other household crawling arthropods, including, but not limitedto, mites, silverfish or spiders.CRAWLING BUG INSECTICIDEdoes notinclude products designed to be used exclusively on humans or animals, or anyhouse dust mite product. For the purposes of this definition only:

(A)HOUSE DUST MITE PRODUCTmeans a product whose label, packaging, or accompanying literaturestates that the product is suitable for use against house dust mites, but doesnot indicate that the product is suitable for use against ants, cockroaches, orother household crawling arthropods.、

(ii)HOUSE DUST MITEmeansmites which feed primarily on skin cells shed in the home by humans and petsand which belong to the phylum Arthropoda, the subphylum Chelicerata,theclassArachnida,thesubclassAcari,theorderAstigmata,andthefamily Pyroglyphidae.

FLEA AND TICK INSECTICIDEmeans anyinsecticide product that is designed for use against fleas, ticks, theirlarvae, or their eggs.FLEA AND TICKINSECTICIDEdoes not include products that are designed to be usedexclusively on humans or animals and their bedding.

FLYING BUG INSECTICIDEmeans any insecticide product that is designed for use againstflying insects or other flying arthropods, including but not limited to flies,mosquitoes, moths, or gnats.FLYING BUGINSECTICIDEdoes not includeWASP ANDHORNET INSECTICIDE, products that are designed to be used exclusively onhumans or animals, or any moth-proofing product. For the purposes of thisdefinition only,MOTH-PROOFING PRODUCTmeansa product whose label, packaging, or accompanying literature indicates that theproduct is designed to protect fabrics from damage by moths, but does notindicate that the product is suitable for use against flying insects or otherflying arthropods.

INSECTICIDE FOGGERmeans any insecticide product designed to release all or most of itscontent, as a fog or mist, into indoor areas during a single application.

may claim to killinsects or other arthropods.
